How many wine bottles do i need to send per entry?
You only need to send ONE bottle of wine per entry.
What size bottle of wine is required?
As homewinemakers ourselves, we know how much work goes into making great wine. We try to not have many arbitrary rules that would disqualify any entry. Just send us 1 bottle - any size - we will make it work
Can I come to the competition in person?
No. The judging is not open to the public or the participants. Participants that earn awards will receive awards won by mail
Who are the judges?
We do not disclose the names of the judges. The judges may frequently change, but all have both experience and a keen interest in home made wine.
Why do you do these competitions?
Everyone involved loves great wine! We do this to foster interest in the hobby
How do I win?
The competition has awards in many categories. The judges use a point system to evaluate wine. So using this thinking, you are competing against others on one hand, but also competing independently....there may be many winners in a category. Of course there will be a Best Of Show award to distinguish truly exceptional entries. May the best wines win. Cheers!
